Osteopathy for All

Osteopathy has something to offer everyone. We see people of all ages, from babies to the elderly and everything in between. We see a diverse range of health issues as well as general neck/back & joint pain. We focus on getting to the root cause of the pain and not just treat the symptoms.

Listed below are some of the common things Osteopathy can help with. However, Osteopathy is a whole-body healthcare approach and we treat the person, not just conditions.

  • back pain, acute & chronic backache

  • neck pain

  • joint pains

  • headache/migraine prevention

  • frozen shoulder/ shoulder and elbow pain

  • arthritic pain

  • inability to relax

  • circulatory problems, cramp

  • digestion problems

  • lumbago

  • sciatica

  • muscle spasms

  • neuralgia (nerve pain)

  • fibromyalgia

  • rheumatic pain

  • sports injuries and tensions

Osteopaths learn and use many different techniques to help your body heal, from soft tissue massage, stretching, manipulation of joints and exercises. Cranial Osteopathy is not separate from Osteopathy but a gentle form of treatment used. For more information about Cranial Osteopathy click here.

He believed that the body has the ability to restore itself to optimum health given the right environment.

“An Osteopath is only a human engineer, who should understand all the laws governing his engine and thereby master disease” A T Still.

By law, Osteopaths must be registered with the General Osteopathic Council to practice in the UK. They undergo extension training and are recognised as Allied Healthcare Professionals.
